Hey, I'm Dee (Dmitrii Kargaev). This is where I write about what I'm building and what I've learned along the way.

Background

10+ years of design, 6+ in fintech and crypto. I was the solo product designer at Datai (ex VALK) for 5 years - an institutional platform with $4B+ in transaction volume, serving 70+ banks across 15 countries. Before that I led design at Spacecode studio in Moscow, shipping 50+ apps for clients like Kaspersky and OTPBank.

Now I'm all-in on AI engineering. Multi-agent orchestration, autonomous workflows, LLM tool calling, and building the tools I wish existed. I run a personal AI agent system that handles everything from morning briefings to code reviews to content pipelines.

What I write about

  • Developer tools - reviews, comparisons, and deep dives on the tools I use daily

How I write

I write the way I talk. Direct and opinionated. I'll name the tools, share the numbers, and tell you when something didn't work. If I don't know something I'll say that instead of pretending.

Elsewhere

I'm Russian, spent 4 years living out of a suitcase across Southeast Asia and Turkey before settling in LA. I don't do calls and I work async, just how my brain works best.
